Hampton Community Kindergarten is a not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer Committee of Management, made up of elected parents serving one-year terms. The Committee is elected each November at the Annual General Meeting.​

Joining the Committee offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the kindergarten, gain insight into its operations and connect with other families.
Meetings are held during the first week of the month, either virtually or in person at HCK.

FAQs
1 / How long do meetings go for?
We meet at the beginning of each month for about an hour. Meetings are sometimes virtual and sometimes in person at the kinder.
2 / Do I need experience?
You don't need committee experience. You just need to care about giving children the best possible kindergarten.
3 / Are there other ways to help than just the day-to-day operations?
Absolutely! There are so many ways you can be involved, even just a few hours a month can make a big difference - help organise social events or fundraisers, volunteer for excursions, join the working bee and help our kinder keep looking its best.​
