Marketing & Communications Officer
Purpose
The Marketing & Communications Officer promotes the kindergarten’s vibrant community and programs across all relevant channels, ensuring families stay informed and connected. This role helps share the stories, successes, and spirit of HCK through newsletters and social media.
Responsibilities

Market and promote the Kinder via various channels. Promote key events Open Day, Annual fundraiser, enrolment process and deadlines etc

Coordinate, Produce and Publish Term Newsletter with President and Director

Manage Kinder Facebook page and publish marketing frequently

Organise the Open Day with the Director and teaching staff

Produce posters and content to inform and communicate about social events, fundraisers, specials days, working bees, enrolment process etc

Assist in editing of documentation produced for internal and external stakeholders

Experience in using Canva or similar, to produce promotion materials

Distribute messages to community via StoryPark

Voting rights on Committee
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Background in Comms & Marketing

Ability to create content and produce a newsletter each term

Ability to develop Comms Plans for the Executive Committee on projects with political significance

Ability to develop Comms materials from Canva and any other preferred programs

Organisation and time management

Considerate of others and/or conflicting ideas and opinions

Maintain confidentiality
This position requires a Volunteer Working with Children's Check (WWC) and will be subject to a National Police Criminal History Check prior to appointment.
