Grants Officer
Purpose
The Grants Officer plays a vital role in supporting the kindergarten’s growth by identifying funding opportunities and preparing successful grant applications. This role helps secure financial support for programs, resources and improvements that enhance the learning environment for children.
Responsibilities

Attend Committee meetings

Work closely with the Treasurer, President and Bookkeeper

Subscribe to Early years and community Grant newsletter i.e. DET, Bayside and others
-
Apply for any relevant grants
-
Follow up on grant applications

Liaise with President and Director regarding key strategic projects that require grant funding

Organise the distribution of grant funds into HCK bank accounts

Voting rights on Committee

This position requires a Volunteer Working with Children's Check (WWC) and will be subject to a National Police Criminal History Check prior to appointment.
