Enrolment Process

Enrolment Submissions

Hampton Community Kindergarten participates in the Central Registration scheme which is run and managed by the Bayside City Council via an online centralised enrolment and registration system, for both 3 and 4 year old kindergarten enrolments. A $100 enrolment fee is required, which is refunded once your child starts kindergarten. Priority of access children do not need to pay an enrolment deposit.

 

3 yr old Enrolments for 2026 – Born before 1 May 2023​

4 yr old Enrolments for 2026 – Born before 1 May 2022


Enrolment submissions for 2026 open on the 1st May 2025 and close 20th June 2025.

Allocation &
Offer Process

​First round offers

Kindergarten offers for 2026 will be emailed to your registered email address via Bayside City Council on 25th July 2025. Upon receiving an offer, families have seven days to respond.


Second round offers

Will be emailed to your registered email address via Bayside City Council on 8th August 2025.

Third round offers 

Will be emailed to your registered email address via Bayside City Council on 22nd August 2025.


If you have selected HCK as your first preference and are not successful, contact the Bayside City Council to discuss waiting list options, as spaces may become available later in the year after all offer rounds.

Kindergarten places are allocated according to priority of access criteria which are regularly reviewed. Information regarding the criteria for the Bayside Central Registration scheme can be obtained from the Council’s website.
