Optional Extra Day of Kinder (Echidna A group – 22.50 hours )
In 2023, Hampton Community Kindergarten will be trialling an extra day of Kinder for 4-year old’s. Families can purchase an extra day at an additional cost, and attend Mon, Wed & Fri.  The extra day (7.5 hours) of Kinder is not subsidised by the government and costs Approx. $850 per term in addition to normal kinder fees.  *subject to demand

Proposed Fees for 2023 (Subject to Change)
  • 4yo & 3yo fees based on 15 hours $620 per term.
  • Plus $100 non-refundable enrolment fee.
  • Plus $150 Family Involvement Levy (refundable after completing two volunteer activities)
  •  Echidna A group, 22.5 hours, Mon, Wed, Fri. Additional Day 7.5 hours $850 per term (TBA) 
  • Families with a HCC or Refugee status receive 15 hours free kinder. Kindergarten Fee Subsidy

Funded Kindergarten
Sessional Kindergarten in Victoria is partly funded by the Victorian State government. In 2023, both 3 and 4 year old kinder will receive funding for 15 hours of kinder per week. This funding is paid directly to the kindergarten and does not attract the Child Care Subsidy as paid to Long Day Care providers. The Committee of Management is a not-for profit association registered with Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Registration Process
Hampton Community Kindergarten participates in the Central Registration scheme operated by Bayside City Council. Registration must be completed online via Bayside City Council.  Kindergarten places are allocated according to priority of access criteria which are regularly reviewed. Information regarding the criteria for the Bayside Central Registration scheme can be obtained from the Council’s website

Registration opens 1st May to 19th June 2022 for the following year. Offers are made in July 2022.
