Offering 15 Hours FREE Kinder in 2025 - Two full days for 3yo and the option of Three full days of 4yo!
Established 1 June 1943 and located in the heart of Hampton, our kindergarten has been educating the young members of the Bayside community for over 80 years.
We are a not-for-profit Kindergarten that is managed by a parent run Committee of Management.
We employ Bachelor qualified teachers and qualified co-educators to deliver play-based programs that allow children to learn and grow through their own interests and exploration of developmentally appropriate experiences and challenges.
Additional programs include a Beach Kinder Program, available to four year old groups in terms 2 and 3.
We invite you to come and explore our bright and spacious kinder room and large outdoor play area.

We are Hampton Community Kindergarten. We are on the Aboriginal people’s land, Bunurong Land. Through our commitment to being a voice for generations, we weave Indigenous perspectives into all of our curriculum. We strive to cultivate in our children a deep understanding and respect for the Indigenous people’s rich history and their enduring relationship with this land. Our promise is to show love, care and respect for the land and its traditional custodians, including learning about how to protect our beautiful coastal area and Indigenous coastal trails along Hampton beach.
Honouring the National Commitment to Child Safety - Hampton Community Kindergarten has zero tolerance toward child abuse, and a key focus of our kindergarten are actively safeguarding our children to ensure their safety is never compromised.
