Imagine a place where your child feels safe, secure and is inspired to grow. Hampton Community kindergarten is located in the heart of beautiful Hampton. Our Kindergarten has been a part of the Bayside Community for over 70 years and was founded on the 1st June 1943. We are a community-based not for profit kindergarten, managed by a parent run Committee of Management that is elected each year at our annual general meeting (AGM). Our Kindergarten offers two four year old programs, and one three year old program, run by tertiary qualified teachers and qualified co-educators. Our programs are play-based and offer children opportunities to follow their interests and grow through exploring developmentally appropriate experiences and challenges. In addition to our regular program, we provide a Beach Kinder program once a month for our four year old groups, offering children the chance to explore their local environment and develop an interest in nature. Our Kindergarten is bright and inviting, with a spacious kindergarten room and large outdoor area for children to play. Our kindergarten is neighbour to a train park, which offers a wonderful extension for families to get to know one another beyond the kindergarten walls.
