IT Officer
Purpose
The IT Officer ensures the smooth operation and security of the kindergarten’s digital systems. This role manages HCK’s IT programs, devices and network security to support efficient communication, data protection and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities

Maintain computer systems, or arrange for external professionals to repair or maintain computer systems, ensuring that regular "back-ups" occur

Assist staff and committee with Kinder IT related issues

Maintain Google Drive
-
Administer Kinder Committee and staff email addresses - via Google
-
Administrate website
-
Maintain Kinder IT Asset register
-
Liaise with the Kinder IT Program at Victoria State Library (if IT computer purchasing is required)

Ensure security mechanisms are activated to protect privacy

Voting rights on Committee
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

Interest in making a difference within the community

Background in Information Services & Technology

Understanding of Google products and services

Ability to procure and engage IT technical specialists for technical issues outside of skillset

Understanding of IT/Cyber security requirements and privacy breach mitigation

This position requires a Volunteer Working with Childrens Check (WWC) and will be subject to a National Police Criminal History Check prior to appointment.
